A beautiful, freshly baked celebration cake in Auckland doesn't have to cost more than $100. At Le Sud Pâtisserie in Papatoetoe, a 6" Vanilla Butter Cake that serves 6 to 8 people is $80.50, and a box of six handmade macarons is $18.

Every cake is baked to order by our Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Sunita, using grass-fed butter, couverture chocolate and real fruit. Nothing sits in a freezer waiting for you. Vanilla Butter Cake, $80.50

A true classic. Three layers of soft vanilla butter cake with vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream, finished in a naked style. It is the cake we recommend for a first birthday, an office morning tea or anyone who simply loves vanilla. It can be made vegan or egg-free at no extra cost.

Black Forest Cake, $80.50

Chocolate sponge layered with softly whipped fresh cream and tangy morello cherries. A timeless favourite for dads, grandparents and chocolate lovers. Egg-free at no extra cost.

Cheesecakes for a crowd, $97.75

The best value on the list. Both cheesecakes come in an 8" size that serves 10 to 12 for under $100. The Cold Boysenberry Cheesecake has a shortbread base, a boysenberry gelée centre and fresh cream on top. The Baked Mango Cheesecake pairs a mango cream cheese filling with fresh cream and mango coulis.

Cupcakes, $68.42 for 12

Choose from chocolate, hot chocolate, red velvet, lemon blueberry, vanilla or vanilla rose. Cupcakes are easy to share at school, at work or at a kids' party, with no cutting required. A fully vegan box is the same price.

Small treats and gifts, from $18

A box of six macarons ($18) makes a thoughtful thank-you gift, with flavours like salted caramel, pistachio chai and raspberry rose. Petite cupcakes ($27.37 for 12) and petite blueberry friands ($39.10 for 12) suit a dessert table or a high tea.

Gluten-free, vegan and egg-free under $100

Dietary needs don't have to push you over budget. The Vanilla Butter Cake and Black Forest Cake can both be made gluten-free for $92 (6"), and the Vanilla Butter Cake can be made vegan or egg-free for no extra charge. Vegan cupcakes are $68.42 for 12, and macarons can be made gluten-free at no extra cost. Just choose the option on the product page when you order.

Delivery across Auckland, and Afterpay

We deliver chilled cakes across Auckland, Monday to Saturday. Order before 9am for same-day delivery, or pick up from our kitchen in Papatoetoe. You can also pay in four instalments with Afterpay, so an $80.50 cake is about $20 a fortnight.
